Dr. Akil Ahad is a Bangladeshi entrepreneur & industrialist, currently serving as the CEO & Director of Karotoa Green Spinning Mills Ltd. His professional journey began in 2007 at Tara Spinning Mills Ltd., progressing through key leadership roles including Director of Karotoa Spinning Mills Ltd. and Deputy Managing Director of Enayetpur Spinning Mills Ltd. He later founded the fashion brand LEND in 2018 and Prekite Technologies, an IT and electronics company, in 2022. In 2026, Dr. Ahad joined BrandXpert as CEO, an emerging technology company specializing in app development, website development, and social media marketing. He is also preparing to launch his upcoming venture, Next User, further expanding his presence in the digital and technology sector. In the same year, Dr. Ahad launched Green Apple Hotel & Resort, a hospitality venture focused on providing premium leisure, accommodation, and lifestyle experiences while promoting sustainable tourism and exceptional guest services. Dr. Ahad holds a Bachelor’s degree from North South University and an MBA from Prime Asia University. He has completed a PhD in Executive Leadership with a specialization in Digital Marketing from the Czech Republic, along with international studies and professional courses in textiles, administration, international relations, and related fields. He has also completed his Private Pilot License training. Dr. Ahad is also a Member of the World Economic Forum, reflecting his engagement with global business and economic perspectives. His achievements include the Mother Teresa International Award and the Daily Star Emerging Business Leader Award.
